Arch Reinsurance Ltd. (Bermuda) underwrites various casualty lines on both a pro rata and excess of loss basis. Lines include General Liability (including Excess General Liability), Workers' Compensation, Commercial Transportation, nonstandard Auto Liability, Marine, Medical Professional Liability, Directors and Officers, Errors and Omissions, and Energy. Trade credit and political risk insurance may be underwritten as well.
Casualty "clash" covers can be provided. These excess-of-loss agreements respond in the event that two or more casualty policies (or with respect to workers' compensation, multiple employers) experience a loss simultaneously and the total amount of the losses exceeds the retention.
